At first, as you could imagine, I read it mostly for information about the place I would be travelling to, like what to eat, where to stay, what dishonest tricks to be on the lookout for, etc. Actually, I was able to avoid some tourist traps and rip-offs thanks to the book. But then, it occurred to me then that it would make a great source for learning English. Thus, I've made it a habit to read it regularly. Reading the book gives me itchy feet, but it also helps me learn some new and nice vocabulary. [多把书和自己的经历联系，而不是聚焦在书本身上面。比如，你一般什么时候读，在哪里读，读多久？或是你读这本书获得什么有用的知识、信息？亦或是你读的时候里面有没有某些话或配图让你有所感触，如联想到自己的某些经历等。]

Unfortunately, early last year, Lonely Planet announced that it would stop publishing its paper books due to a sharp decline in subscriptions. Anyway, I wish it would continue its digital issue cos’ I really enjoy reading it.
