本月的三场官考均遵照了新托福发布的流程进行。口语部分删掉了独立题中的Task 1和综合题中的Task 5，剩下Task 2, 3, 4, 6。新题号分别为Task 1, 2, 3, 4。在批改方式上，加入了speech rater与考官协同批改。注意：在8月3号和10号的成绩单上，只显示了单项总成绩。官网成绩单上并未给出单项小分 (Good, Fair, Limited, Weak)，但不排除以后会作出调整的可能性。

8月10号 Task 1(原Task2) - Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should be taught to be independent when they are very young. Use specific reasons to support your answer. 你是否同意以下观点：孩子们在很小的时候就应该被教导去学会独立。这道题考的相对直接，可以直接谈谈独立对一个小孩今后的生活与工作的重要性，例如独立做决定及解决生活的能力。以往考题中考过去新地方生活的好处，也可以灵活地与此题联系在一起。由此可见，学习独立题需要多总结多思考。

8月24号 Task 1 - Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is disrespectful for tourists to take pictures of strangers without their permission. 你是否同意以下观点：游客在未经陌生人允许的情况下把他们拍下来是不尊重人的行为。绝大部分Agree/Disagree的题型，题目本身都不会太具体，所以可以去找到题干中一些能去展开解释或讨论的字眼，以此会得到一些思路。比如本题中tourists，试想我们旅游时拍照，大家都经常会在拍景观时照到陌生人或是被照下来。这都是很正常的事情，因为大家都是无意的。相反的，在有意为之时，性质就不一样了。可以展开解释题干中的”disrespecful”，比如违背他人意愿，泄露他人隐私，侵犯肖像权等，从而制造冲突。相信这也是大部分人都能想得到的思路。这也可能对相应的词汇表达的要求会高一点。

8月25号 Task 1 - Some people like to shop in large department stores or supermarkets to buy all things they need. Other people prefer to shop in small specialty stores or shops to buy one specific item at a time. Which do you prefer? Explain why. 一些人喜欢在大超市里买完所有他们需要的东西。其他一些人更喜欢去小型商店一次只买一件特定的商品。你更偏向哪种？解释原因。这道题属于生活抉择类。虽然看起来似乎比较新，但是这一类话题都有一些通用思路，如效率，方便，灵活等。两种观点都不难回答。但是种观点可能更符合我们当今社会的购物环境，很多学生会觉得更有话说。

总体来说，独立口语题有在慢慢翻新的趋势，但是所属话题类型并没有改变。只要考生在做题时多思考，多总结相似题型的答题思路，做到灵活运用，这几题回答起来还是比较轻松的。

TASK 1

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Children should be taught to be independent when they are very young. Use specific reasons to support your answer.

I agree with the statement. Everyone is born to be an individual, so it doesn’t matter what kind of a family one is born into, he or she will have to live his or her own life when growing up. It is significant to teach a child about his individuality when he is young because this is a big and a life-long lesson to learn. Besides, being independent is also a mindset that can never be developed overnight. It is a process which takes acknowledgment, experiences, devotion, struggles, even compromises. For example, if a parent never teaches a child to earn money to provide for himself, then the child will be more likely to depend on the family financially even after he is an adult. Therefore, for the sake of the child’s future development, this lesson should be started early.

TASK 1

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

It is disrespectful for tourists to take pictures of strangers without their permission.

I agree with the statement. One’s willingness of being taken a picture by the other is completely subjective. This means that someone has the full right to refuse and to stop the act. It is true with people he/she is familiar with and even intimate with, let alone strangers. It is disrespectful because, to put it plainly, asking for permission is a matter of manner that is expected from all. To put it seriously, it ignores and violates one’s subjective will. Who knows what is the motivation behind this act. Nowadays, there are so many criminal activities such as fraud, stealing and using people’s images to make profit. It is always good to be careful. However, there are occasions that people are just not mindful when they are taking pictures. For example, when you are traveling, it’s hard to avoid people sometimes. But it’s good to be mindful about it.

TASK 1

Some people like to shop in large department stores or supermarkets to buy all things they need. Other people prefer to shop in small specialty stores or shops to buy one specific item at a time. Which do you prefer? Explain why.

I prefer to shop in large supermarkets. First of all, undoubtedly, it is convenient. Being caught be a busy schedule, finding time to shop for groceries can be a challenge for many people. So when they can fit this task into their time management, it better be done as soon as possible. And of course, a big store with everything would be helpful and efficient. This is true for myself too. Besides, sometimes when I have a less occupied schedule, I also just simply enjoy being in a big supermarket because of its well-designed environment and the greater variety of commodities. I feel pretty relaxed when I am walking around and looking through some new products, and I don’t ever have to worry about that I won’t be able to find what I need.
