At the first step, people drop used cans into bins that are used only for collecting aluminium products. Subsequently, these cans are loaded in trucks and delivered to factories where contaminants are eliminated. Once the clean cans are separated from other waste, they are shredded and then compressed into small pieces for further process.

At the following stage, these substances go through a heater where they are heated and melted into liquid.
