2021年10月共有6场考试，整体难度适中。第 一场考试为人生经历和科技类交叉话题，第二场考试为教育学习类话题，第三场和第四场考试为人生经历类话题，第五场考试为人生经历和学习类交叉话题，最后一场考试为人生经历类话题。从话题集中程度来看，人生经历类话题占多数，回答此类话题除了夯实语言基础，包括常见万 能理由，比如安全，省钱，忙碌等，还需要考生注意积累一定的生活经验，没有一定的经历，即使语言水平较高，也很容易变成无话可说的局面。对于此，同学们可以适当关于涉及到教育或者社会生活方面的双语新闻来补充自己的语料库。

Task 1: Some people prefer to attend live sports events in the stadium or sports field. Others prefer to watch the sports games online or on the TV. Which do you prefer? Explain why.

题目解析：

此题可以结合真实的亲身经历来打开和发展话题。虽然本题说的是体育活动，但并不妨碍大家联想自己曾经看演唱会的体验。比如说，我们打算参加演唱会的时候需要抢票，但是经常抢不到票，所以有时候不得不去找黄牛去卖高价票，然而学生并没有多少钱。另一个方面，可以结合新冠去发展关于安全方面的理由，比如聚集公共场合，非常可能被感染。综上，我们可以结合这两个点去发散和组织语言。

I think watching the sports games online is a better idea. 

I feel this way for several reasons. 

First, the biggest obstacle to attend live sports is tickets. Take myself as an example, I love watching basketball game very much. Last time, I scrambled for a ticket for a basketball competition and I failed, because there were so many people doing the same thing at exactly the same time. So, I had to turn to the scalper, but the price of the ticket was exorbitant for me. 

Besides, considering the Delta coronavirus prevention, it is wiser for people to reduce the exposure to public area, like gym, because more people in the same place means higher possibility of infection.

Task 1: Some people think only secondary school students should go to college. While others think all the students could go to college. What is your opinion and why? Please give specific details to support your opinion.

本题考察教育学习话题，主要涉及对于哪些人可以上大学这方面内容。对于题目里面的单词secondary school，我们要知道它的同义词是high school，正确理解题目内容，永远是答好口语题目的第 一步。大家可以联系自己经历，并对情景进行假设，我一个小学肄业生现在去上大学，有效果吗？学得好吗？所以，我们很快就能想到两个理由：不利于大学阶段学习、上大学并不一定是唯 一出路。

I think only high school graduates are allowed to attend colleges.

I feel this way for several reasons.

First, the knowledge students gained from high school can lay the groundwork for college courses. For instance, right now in China, all college students need to pass College English Test, which is a standardized test in English, to meet one of the graduation requirements. If you are bad at English, it is a waste of time to go to the college.

Second, there is no need for all students to go to college, because individual success can be defined by many criteria. Let’s say, Kobe Bryant. He wasn’t a gifted student in academic stuff but we all witnessed his superb basketball talent. Indeed, he became a legendary in basketball realm.

Task 1: Some people like to make decision based on their own experience while other people prefer to ask others for help such as family and friends. Which do you prefer and why?

题目解析：

这题我们比较的对象是自己和他人，这是托福非常喜欢考察的一对选择。自己的优点一般是：更了解自己、未来不是由别人替我们走、自己更有决断力。他人的优点是：思考周全客观、有更多阅历、成熟不冲动。如果这题我们选择家人朋友的话，可以选择更多阅历这个理由来发散，并结合一个具体的例子来组成45秒的回答。

范文:

Well, personally speaking, I prefer to ask my family and friends for help if I shall make an important decision on something I am not familiar with. First, two heads are always better than one. If you are not certain about something, it’s always better to resort to others for help. Take myself for example; when I had to make a choice between two job offers after graduation, I honestly didn't know how to choose. So I asked my parents, since they both have a work-span for over 30 years, they surely could give me some useful advice. And it turned out to be the right thing to do, for their advice was very constructive and I was very satisfied with the job I chose.

I prefer to get advice from my friends or classmates.

I feel this way for several reasons.

First, I am with my classmates every day, so I have many chances to exchange ideas with them. By contrast, my parents are always on business trips, and it is really hard for me to see them, let alone talking to them.

Second, there is no communication barrier caused by generation gap. For example, recently I have no idea whether I should buy a new game or not. If I consult them about this question, they will always say that sorry, mum and dad don't have the slightest idea about game. So, peers are better choices for such advice.

Task 1: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students will learn more if they have friends in the same class. Why?

题目解析：这类题可结合自身性格和多人学习的优点来讨论，比如缺乏自制力需要监督，以及集体讨论互为老师。遇到类似题目的时候，我们在解题策略方面一定要注意转化问题，尽量用已掌握的知识去解决新出现的问题，这样可以保证答题流利度和信息完整度。

Students will learn more with their friends in the same class.

I feel this way for several reasons.

First, it is good for those students lacking self-discipline. Take myself as an example; I am enslaved by phone games. If I study with my friends, they will force me to keep away from the phone. Thus, I will be able to better focus on learning.

Second, students can benefit from discussion with their friends. For instance, I am bad at math. If I encounter a tough math problem, I will spend a whole dealing with it. However, if I study in a group, I can exchange ideas with group members and consult them directly. So I can tackle the problem with less time and have more time to learn other subjects.

Task 1: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement that people in small towns are often more willing to help their neighbors than those in big cities? Why?

题目解析：

这道题可以转化为小地方的人和大城市的人谁更热心，为什么？我们可以选择说小地方的人为什么热心和大地方的人为什么不热心，从两方面展开论述，比如我们可以说小地方的人更善良，没有太多顾虑。第二个点我们可以说大城市的人太忙碌，没时间去帮忙，这样可能导致迟到等。

I think people in small towns are more willing to help others.

I feel this way for several reasons.

First, townspeople are kind and willing to trust people, because they don’t experience urban life with fraud and get hurt. For example, many citizens went through a fraud like this: a young man claiming to have no money eating food deceived people into giving him money. 

Second, citizens right now all live a fast-paced life. Their lives are hectic. For example, if I help people to carry heavy package with using 20 minutes in the morning, I will be late for work, because all the roads in city center are packed with cars and I have to go to the company as early as possible.
