　　2. I had to set up my programme of research in three countries so I approached postgraduates in my field in overseas departments(我在三个不同的国家设立了研究项目,同时与海外部 门相关领域的研究生联系)。set up 意为“设立,建立”,单词 establish 也表达类似的意思。approach 既可作动词,也可作名词,此处它是动词,意为“联系”。
