今天给大家带来的话题是目前排名第21的—《自行车/摩托车/汽车旅行》。

Describe a bicycle/ motorcycle/ car trip you would like to go

You should say:

• When you would like to go

• Where you would like to go

• Who you would like to go with

• And explain why you would like to go by bicycle/ motorcycle/ car

我也不知道为啥，看到这种开车旅行类的话题，大家总是反应就是开车去西藏。你说你次听说会感到新奇，但听多了就是炒冷饭了，也应该换换胃口了。

除此之外, 这道题的关键不是去哪，关键在于不同交通工具给人带来的感受。现在我们就从四小问着手，来分别聊一聊它们各自的拓展以及对应的结构框架。

When you would like to go

传统模式下，大多数同学会采取【when+why】的方式来回答此问。

Example :

If it is possible, I would like to go on a car trip after graduation.  I have two months off, so I want to enjoy a long vacation, and I think it is time for me to do something that I haven’t done before.

不过该模式下，你的拓展相对而言比较有限。我个人更会推荐【how you know about】的结构格式来带出这一小问的回答。

在我看来，“when you would like to go”更像一个结果，而该结果怎么来，需要有个前因后果来说明，这也正好符合了【how you know about】所对应的“认知过程-目前结果”。

为此，这道题大致可以是这么一个思路：

你次有这个想法是什么时候？想法是从何而来？最终你想什么时候去实现？

Example :

I would like to go on a bicycle trip. The first time I had this idea was about five years ago. I watched a documentary about a young man traveling around China on his old bicycle. I was really impressed by his story and thought it could be a very special way to travel. However, my parents didn’t want me to go. But I think after graduation, I can use my last summer holiday to make it happen 梦想成真.

Where you would like to go

该问题的拓展，我们有两个方案。

种：定向式

也就是说，我的目的地很明确，且只有一个。比如，我就只去西藏。这个时候，我们就可以从“城市类”的维度着手，对其作进一步的细节拓展，如：它的地理位置/环境/历史/人文/气候/美食等。

Example :

To be honest, I would like to drive to Tibet. It is a place I hold in my heart, and I am also fascinated by its rich culture. I have watched so many videos about the place and I really would like to experience the open blue skies and stunning landscapes.

第二种：广撒网式

也就是说，我的目的地不是很明确，有很多想去的地方。不过，这些地方可能会有一些共性。比如：我既想去大城市，又想去一些小城市；或者我想先去一些离自己城市较近的地方，再挑战自己去一些较远的地方。

之后，再分别给出原因，为什么？而这往往都和它们各自的优点有关。比如：去大城市，因为它的繁华；去小城市，因为它的安静。

Example one:

There are many places that I would like to go. For example, I would like to travel to places off the beaten track 鲜有人知的, so I can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way and the tranquility 静谧. I also would like to ride to some big cities, like Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou to see the big lights and bustling lifestyle 繁华的生活.

Who you would like to go with

看到此类问题，基础性的答题结构就是【who+why】。这未尝不可，只是你的理由需要和这个旅行有关关联性。那么你会想要跟这个人一起去，可能是因为他很大胆/很有经验/或者也有可能是想带着他一起走出舒适圈。

Example ：

I would like to go with my brother.  He is so adventurous and free spirited 无拘无束的, and I know he would make a great driving companion. We could take it in turns 轮流 at the wheel 掌舵 and we could sing songs and make each other laugh along the way.  I think if I went with my brother, I would have a far more exciting trip.

除此之外，你也可以考虑一下【时间线】的变化。

也就是说，你打算一起去的人可能发生了变化。比如：原本想和谁一起去的，后来因为什么原因让你改变了想法，最后你打算选择跟谁一起去。

Example：

I would like to go with my best friend, but I don’t think she would come as she likes her creature comforts 物质享受 in the city so I can’t see her getting on board 入伙. I have looked into car clubs, and I think they are a good idea. You meet up with like-minded 志趣相投的 people and you all travel together. This might be the best solution for some traveling companions.

如果你想要和一帮人一起去，并且这些人和你有着不一样的关系。你也可以对他们分别作介绍。切记，不要不要一一罗列，还是需要有归结性的。比如：我想跟我的几个好朋友一起去，两个是大胆的，还有一个则想利用这次机会来锻炼自己。

Example ：

Even though it is just a plan, I have already discussed it with my friends. They all would like to join me. 2 of them are my roommates in university. Both like to take risks. The other person is an old high school classmate.  She is keen to go as she wants to step out of her comfort zone 走出舒适圈.

Why you would like to go by bicycle/ motorcycle/ car

至于这一小问，我们需要从不同交通工具所附带的特性来说明你选择该旅行的原因。

•  开车旅行

它的特性是和公共交通工具相对的。为此，你想要开车旅行，可能就是自己开车有着公共交通没有的优点。比如：灵活，随时随地；舒适，不用扛行李等。

Example ：

I would like to go on a car trip, as it is very flexible and completely different from traveling by public transport. I can decide when to set off and where to go. That means, I can even change my plan halfway without worrying. 

More importantly, it would be more comfortable traveling in a car. I wouldn’t need to carry luggage around all the time and if my car is big enough I could sleep in it.

•  摩托车旅行

它的特性是和普通交通工具相对的。为此，你想要摩托车旅行，可能就是摩托车会比汽车来的更刺激、更有挑战性。它可以让你更好的走出舒适圈，感受肾上腺素飙升。

Example ：

I would like to go on this kind of trip because they are very unconventional 不传统的. For me, it is a way to challenge myself and do something different. To be honest, I have done everything my parents have told me to do, and I am sick of it. 

It is boring and tedious 无聊的, so I would like to do something exciting and challenging. So going on a motorcycle trip would be a great way to get the adrenalin pumping 肾上腺素飙深 and feel alive.

•  自行车旅行

它的特性是和耗费汽油等交通工具相对的。为此，你想要自行车旅行，可能就是一种宣传环保的方式。除此之外，也可以认识很多志趣相投的人，不过这个点其他两种交通工具也都具备，为此可以共用。

Example ：

I would like to go on a bicycle trip, as it is eco-friendly. I think it would also be a good way to advocate the importance of environmental protection and encourage people to use more public transport and bicycles instead of cars. Another reason why I would like to go on a bicycle trip is I think I would meet lots of other bike enthusiasts along the way which would be fun.
