Well, I’d like to talk about my first visit to Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. 【引入】

I still remember it vividly.I was still working for a mining company about 9 years ago whenI was sent to Harare for two months of short-term work.【背景介绍】

Like many others,I imagined it as a typical African country, complete with vast deserts, scorching heat, and crime-ridden communities. However, my first encounter withthe country began with a bundle of surprises:I arrived aftera 24-hour flight that included two transfers. I was amazed by the pleasant weather asI walked to meet my African colleague Milton at the airport car park: a soft breeze, soft sunshine, and clear blue sky. After I settled down, my halcyon daysin Harare began. Apart from routine work, I got opportunities to explore every nook and crannyand experience everything the place had to offer. On weekends, for example,my colleagues would guide me around the city or take me on a retreat in a nearby town. And I remember clearly that one time,I encountered a cluster oflocals at a recreational park. Some were dancing to the radio, some were swimming in the lake, and others were barbecuing and grilling. Seeing me stroll leisurely, a young man invited me to join them. Quite often, whenI was buying groceries at the market, some kids would come and say Nihao (hello in Chinese) to me. I usually replied with a smile, and then I would get an enthusiastic welcomefrom them. 【通过简单的故事举例描述自己在这个地方进一步的所见所闻。我这里举了比较多的例子，实际考试时可以不用说这么多。】
